Bruno Tracq lives in Brussels, where he works as a screenwriter and director. After more than 15 years as an editor (for Jaco Van Dormael, Au Service de la France, Augure, etc.), he also works as a playwright, video creator, and screenplay consultant. He teaches at Insas and ESAV. He has directed several music videos and short films, as well as a medium-length film in the US with Lubna Azabal (Betelgeuse). His documentary Ma Voix t’Accompagnera (Arte, Netflix, Disney+) won the Best Documentary award at Camerimage and was nominated for the Magritte 2022. In 2025, his first feature film and his second documentary, L’Annonce, will be released.
Selma Alaoui, trained at Insas (Brussels), began her career in theater as an actress and then as a writer and director, winning numerous awards in Belgium before her work was presented in Germany, France, and Switzerland. Co-founder of the Mariedl collective, then Catfish, she was an associate artist at the Théâtre Varia and the Théâtre de Liège (2018-2022). In film and television, she has acted for the Dardenne brothers, among others. She plays the lead role in Une sœur by Delphine Girard (nominated for an Oscar in 2020) and Quitter la nuit. In 2025, she was among the César Revelations and was nominated for a Magritte Award.

Samia meets Farhan, who is smoking outside his home. She follows him to his apartment, where he organizes Moroccan music concerts. This joyous celebration makes her forget the distant funeral that same day of a father she never knew. As she leaves the building, she realizes she has forgotten her wallet. She returns, only to be warned by a neighbor that no one has lived here for decades…
