The Festival du Film Merveilleux 2021 jury awarded the following prizes: Best Film, Best Animated Film, Jury Prize, Musical Favourite, Best Special Effects.

The members of the jury are: Cedrik Leger ( Producer), Lancelot Mingau (Director), Sylvie Dimet (Founder of the Paris International Animation Film Festival (PIAFF)), Carole Mermoud (Actress) and Angie Russo (Actress).

Synopsis : ​​It’s New Year’s Eve. Sophie, a quasi-burnt-out intern at the psych emergency room, is in charge of admitting Marie, a troubled patient brought by the police following  a crisis. During their conversation, Marie sees right through Sophie and makes remarks that lead Sophie to question deeply her relationship with her boyfriend Vincent. After tonight, nothing will ever be the same.

She writes first by groping and then immerses herself in the story, she writes the story of an imaginary creature through which she identifies. This little creature is called Mako, she runs away from her parents and travels. Mako gets lost in her travels and sadly realizes that she loses her home by rushing on this journey. As for Louise, she reconnects with her mother by writing this story.
