A graduate of Paris-Dauphine University in Media Management, Christine Mazereau began her career with various broadcasters (France TV, TF1, Radio France, etc.), mainly as a journalist—a position she would later hold at various professional and consumer print media outlets. In 1995, she joined the CNC, where she managed various funds, notably the Experimental Production Fund, before joining the French office of the European Union’s MEDIA Program in January 2000, where she was responsible for providing information and support to professionals in the film, audiovisual, and video game sectors. In 2015, she took over as director of RECA, the network of animation film schools, which now has 34 member institutions.
