Jury – Fabien Houssaye

Fabien Houssaye is a French comedian with an eclectic career.

Recognized for his impressive stature and an aptitude for playing physical roles (sci-fi creatures, monsters), he collaborates with different directors to embody their creatures.

We find him in “Metal Hurlant Chronicles” and “The Cell” by Guillaume Lubrano, “Dark Stories” by François Descraques, “La nuit à dévoré le monde” by Dominique Rocher, “Ogre” by Arnaud Malherbe, “8 for silver” by Sean Ellis, “Méandre” by Mathieu Turi, “Ada” by Anaïs Vachez, “Anaon” by David Hourregue

He also embodies public characters (double of Edouard Philippe), for the series Miskina, Groland and Notre dame brûle by Jean Jacques Annaud.

From 2020 to 2023, he played the roles of Brindavoine and the Commissioner, alongside Michel Boujenah, in the play ‘L’Avare’ directed by Daniel Benoin

He is as comfortable on classic sets as on series and genre film sets.

This balance between live performance and visual effects gives it a unique signature in the French artistic landscape.

We will soon find him in the next film by Quarxx ‘Les âmes en peine’ alongside Thierry Frémont and Ophélia Kolb
