Meet Demba Coulibaly

Demba Coulibaly discovered cinema in 2019 when Jeff Taver, a director, invited him and two friends to make a short film. Through this experience, he learned about the entire filmmaking process, from writing to post-production. He then explored the world of fashion and fashion shows and took on small roles in short films. Eager to enhance his acting skills, Demba joined lafabrikOrigin, where he performed his first play as a lawyer, even staging it at the Bobigny Court. He continued acting in several short films and directed his first film for the Nikon Festival. This experience sparked his interest in directing, prompting him to pursue training in screenwriting, including a course in NEW WRITING. He also completed a diploma in editing, color grading, and 2D animation. Today, Demba runs his own company, CURIAL STUDIO, where he produces films, develops plays, assists with writing, and leads improvisation workshops.
