Under the patronage of the French National Commission for UNESCO, the 16th edition of the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire de Paris will take place from 16 to 18 September 2026 at the Christine Cinéma Club, 4 rue Christine, 75006 Paris.
The opening reception will be held on Wednesday, 16 September at 7:00 p.m., followed by the first screening at 7.30 p.m. Screenings will take place every evening at 7.30 p.m., with a closing reception on Friday, 18 September screening evening at 7.30PM followed by Palmares & closing cocktail.
IMPORTANT : If online tickets are sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the venue on the day of the event at cinema Le Christine cinéma Club, 4 rue Christine.
Building on the creation of the SDG Impact Award in 2025, the Festival is now taking its commitment further by connecting selected films with the Sustainable Development Goals they most naturally illuminate. Through powerful and imaginative stories, cinema can make the SDGs more tangible and accessible, helping audiences explore issues such as health, education, equality, inclusion, climate action, peace and justice. Across successive editions, the Festival aims to raise awareness of all 17 Sustainable Development Goals through films, discussions and educational resources, without imposing a fixed interpretation on the works presented.

The Festival du Film Merveilleux, is an international film festival that celebrates magic and fantasy while promoting cultural exchange and global cooperation. The festival has organized screenings at French Institutes, Alliance Française locations worldwide, and with foreign partner festivals & Cultural insitut, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and strengthening international ties. The festival is held in Paris. It was first launched in 2010 and is under the patronage of the French National Commission for UNESCO
