Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire in Buenos Aires — 23 September 2026

The Festival travels to Argentina

Following its 16th edition in Paris, the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire travels to Argentina for a special screening at the Alliance Française de Buenos Aires on 23 September 2026.

For one evening, audiences in Buenos Aires will discover five French short films from the 2026 selection, representing a variety of cinematic approaches, artistic techniques and imaginative worlds.

Fiction, stop-motion puppetry, animated ink and pinscreen animation come together in a programme exploring childhood, memory, creation, otherness and urban life.

This special screening extends the international circulation of the Festival’s films beyond Paris and continues its commitment to creating encounters between cinema, audiences and cultures.
