CINEMA FOR DIALOGUE – INTERNATIONAL
Cinema as a platform for international dialogue
The Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire uses cinema, the marvellous and the imaginary to open new perspectives on contemporary and global challenges.
We develop film-based programmes with international organisations, diplomatic communities, universities, cultural institutions and networks, using storytelling as a starting point for dialogue, learning and collective reflection.
Tailor-made programmes
Every collaboration begins with a theme, an audience and an objective.
We can curate films from the Festival’s international selection or launch a dedicated call for films to create a programme around a specific issue.

The marvellous as another way of looking at the world
Short films, and particularly stories drawing on the marvellous, fantasy, symbolism and imagination , can approach complex realities from unexpected perspectives.
They allow audiences to encounter global challenges not only through facts, but through emotion, metaphor, culture and storytelling.
Cinema becomes a space where different experiences and worldviews can meet.
From screening to dialogue
A programme can combine films with filmmaker encounters, moderated conversations, World Café sessions, workshops, educational resources or roundtables.
For institutional and diplomatic audiences, these formats can create a more informal and creative space in which participants encounter one another differently and explore a shared question through multiple perspectives.
Let’s create a programme together
From a single screening to a dedicated international event, each programme can be developed around your organisation’s mandate, audience and objectives.
