Director Biography – Aidan McAteer

Aidan McAteer has worked in Dublin, London, Vancouver and Singapore as an animator, story artist, writer and director on animated TV and film projects.

He wrote and directed on the twice Emmy-nominated comedy series “Oddbods” and was BAFTA-nominated for directing the recent CBBC reboot of “Danger Mouse”.

Aidan has also worked as a director and storyboard artist for studios including Cartoon Saloon, Brown Bag Films and Boulder Media.

He has also made several award-winning short films including “Streets of Fury”, “The Gentleman’s Guide to Villainy” and “Deadly”. He enjoys moonlight, Marmite and the musical works of William Shatner.
