Director Biography – Gabriel Hénot-Lefèvre

Come and meet Gabriel Hénot-Lefèvre, one of the directors selected for the 13th Edition of the Festival du film Merveilleux et Imaginaire.

Gabriel Hénot-Lefèvre

Born in 1992, in France. After working in children’s books and studying at Supinfocom, Gabriel Henot-Lefevre went on to specialize in animation, staging and motion design. Through the French animation authors’ association AGrAF, he discovered the world of screenwriting, and has since developed a host of projects for animated series, short films and feature films. Today he champions authors and screenwriters from his local region around Valence through his association “Valence ton Pitch”. He is also a board member of AGrAF and director/trainer for Noranim.

Synopsis: In a sanatorium by the sea, an old man finds his life transfigured by the arrival of a seagull, that he delicately tames. When the seagull gets wounded, the man takes care of her, and for a brief moment, he returns to boyhood again.
