Director Biography – Giovanni GASPARETTO

Giovanni started his career as a 3D animator and later became a Lead in animated film production. After working in France at Illumination and in Canada at MPC, he has been based in Réunion since 2022, collaborating with Studio 2 Minutes and GaoShan Pictures.
His career has provided him with strong team management skills, experience across diverse projects (series, feature films, and short films), and a comprehensive understanding of production processes.

A curious and versatile individual with a passion for teaching, he also works as a professor at ILOI and Rubika Réunion.

Inspired by his own childhood, Giovanni created Piwooz at the age of 7 and, since 2014, has developed a complete universe and various editorial content. Combining high creative abilities with solid experience in animated audiovisual production, he is the origin of the Piwooz universe and work.

Because ruling by being the strongest or the meanest is never the solution. We aim to share a message of truth with this clip: the villains in our favorite tales also have emotional weaknesses. They need comfort and love behind their tough shells.
