Meet the Film Teams Attending the Festival’s Opening Night

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire will open its 16th edition at the Christine Cinéma Club with the first competition screening, “What We Carry Within.”

Beyond the films on screen, this opening night will also offer audiences the opportunity to meet several filmmakers, film team members and representatives of the selected works.

For The Skin I’m in, we will be delighted to welcome Elena Vialykh – Director and Stellakis Miltiadous – Producer.

The Iranian film At night will be represented by Hassan Nozadian – Representative.

For No Wind to hold, audiences will have the opportunity to meet Mickael Abbate – Director.

Finally, for Bourreau des Cœurs, we will welcome Inès Moussard – Director and Alexandre Juhl – Lead Animation.

Their presence will offer audiences a special opportunity to discover the people behind the films and to extend the screening experience through encounters and conversations.
