We are thrilled to reveal the full programme for our special one-night-only event, presented in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes de Paris.

On Wednesday, June 17, join us for an evening of extraordinary Spanish short films — five carefully selected works that blend the uncanny, the tender, and the fantastical.

The Venue

Instituto Cervantes de Paris — A cornerstone of Hispanic culture in France, the Instituto Cervantes has been dedicated since 1991 to teaching Spanish and showcasing the richness of Spanish-speaking countries. Its Paris cultural centre is the perfect setting for this very special evening.

The Programme

• La Campania (12′) — dir. José María Flores A couple takes advantage of a rare child-free evening to go out for dinner. On the street, a crowd gathers around something unexpected. 🎬 Watch the trailer

• Encarna and Hueso (5′) — dir. Blanca López Mayorga Encarna, a gentle 74-year-old woman, shares her life with Hueso, her beloved cat. One evening, two burglars break into her home — but the night won’t unfold quite as they planned.

• The Boogey & the Witch (6′) — dir. Jorge Turell A Boogey tries on masks in his room. Elsewhere, a witch brews her beauty potion. Then space and time tear open, unlocking portals to a third realm where the two creatures finally meet. 🎬 Watch the trailer

• Franceska (7′) — dir. Alberto Cano A playful retelling of Frankenstein: Victor, ready to defy science itself, is about to bring Franceska back to life — with the more or less enthusiastic assistance of Igor, his lovesick companion. 🎬 Watch the trailer

• La Ultima Partida (17′) — dir. Luis Belda Four high school friends gather to play a role-playing game in an eerie old house. When magical forces blur the line between the game and reality, old stories resurface and friendships are put to the test.
