Wonder across cultures

Since 2010, the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire has developed an international network around cinema, cultural exchange and cooperation.

Festival films and programmes have travelled through Alliances Françaises, Instituts français, cultural institutions, festivals and professional networks, reaching audiences in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and Australia.

Today, our international activities are built around two complementary approaches:

Movies Around the World

International screenings and cultural cooperation, bringing selected films to new audiences and creating connections between cultures.

Cinema for Dialogue

Tailor-made programmes using cinema as a platform for dialogue between international organisations, diplomatic communities, senior public officials, universities and cultural institutions.

From screenings to moderated conversations, World Café sessions and private institutional gatherings, we create formats where cinema becomes a starting point for encounter, reflection and dialogue.
